Responsibilities:

 

The Boston Account Manager position requires someone with the ability to “hunt” down new accounts and contacts. Initially the job requires one to make large quantities of cold calls daily. The Boston office has many large accounts available that need a great deal attention in order to yield sales. The right candidate is going to have a, “never give up attitude.”  This role requires a confident individual that understands breaking an account and building relationships is hard work, and by no means happens over night.

 
The life cycle of this job starts with a great deal of time spent on the phone. The first challenge will be getting live phone hits. The second challenge getting a meeting and introducing yourself and Sapphire in a professional and comprehensive manner. As your accounts develop more time will be spent maintaining the accounts, building relationships and less time making calls. This takes time, determination, and personal sacrifice. This is by no means a 9-5 job!


Core Responsibilities:

  • Promote Client development and build relationships with prospective Clients through office visits, presentations and negotiations.
  • Work with Client to obtain qualified job requirements and educate Client on Sapphire’s processes.
  • Update and maintain Client information in accordance to Sapphire’s standards.
  • Responsible for increasing the number of qualified hiring contacts in database.
  • Track vendor agreements and complete accurate invoicing information.
  • Locate other contractors working at Client locations and refer them to recruiting.
  • Maintain contractors working in existing Clients, tracking personal starts and upcoming finishes.
  • Meet or exceed weekly goal expectations.

Required Skills:

  • A strong work ethic and sense of commitment
  • Able to work in a very fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Closing skills and the ability to build lasting relationships built on honest and integrity
  • Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills
  • 4 year college degree required
